The Teacup Project - Public intervention, ongoing, vintage teacups, saucers, plants, soil
I have been leaving teacups in various locations all over the world since 2008. Each cup contains a small plant and a flag with an inspirational phrase on one side and an email address and facebook details of Florence George (a pseudonym) on the other. By leaving the cups I am hoping to generate opportunities where an encounter with one of the objects will create a special moment in someone’s life. Maybe they will escape for a second from the mundane, create a link between people or provoke thoughts, and give individuals an experience to take away.
